“We must stop in any way dependent on the supply of anything from the West to ensure the development of critical industries for the security, economy and social sphere of our Motherland,” — said the minister.
“Now we need to accelerate, pay attention to sensitive industries, understand where we have an acute dependence and how to overcome it as soon as possible,” — she noted. At the same time, the speaker of the chamber emphasized that a product can be considered import-substituted only if it is 100% produced in Russia.
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov refused to support this point of view, but admitted that the country has unfulfilled plans. At the same time, he stressed that Russia now has to exist in “aggressive conditions”.
